     Established in 1999, the College of Science Advisory Board is composed of graduates of the College of Science and other UTEP alumni. Members are local businessmen and women and professionals both in the El Paso-Juarez region and out of town. The Board provides support and advice to the Dean and faculty on matters of interest to the College, its faculty and students.

     The Board has assisted with the funding of the Biological Sciences Research Building that is now under construction. It has worked to develop a marketing plan for the College, has provided expertise in employment opportunities for graduates of the College, and has helped to identify fund-raising opportunities. Past Chairs of the Board are Dr. Edward Egbert and Mr. Ralph Ponce De Leon. The current Chair is Ms. Harriet May.
